Each transaction should benefit the overall trading environment with leases concluded on a sustainable basis. The variables to be considered in deciding which proposals should be progressed are more complex than just lease and covenant. We assess the rent against the ability of the business to afford it. Decisions are made based on mutually agreed Profit and Loss accounts and less so on old fashioned methods such as a rate per square foot or Zone A.
