GCL acting on behalf of Henry Boot Developments have concluded two new lettings to long term occupier at Folkestone Services, Channel Ports Ltd.
Channel Ports have been long term partners with Henry Boot Developments on this site running their Customs clearance business and the very successful lorry park operation within the service station.
To cope with the extra demand and to assist with new working arrangements with Customs & Excise, Channel Ports have taken two new leases on Units R4 and R1 giving in total 4,500 sq ft with the ability to extend further via a mezzanine.
Two new leases were taken for a term of 5 years at a combined rental of £61,000 per annum.
The space is being fitted out to a high standard to house extra staff for Channel Ports growing business ensuring the thousands of Lorry Drivers using this facility receive a second to none experience

This meant surrendering an existing lease from former coach operators Shearings and repurposing space originally planned as an entrance to a hotel.”
